§          Kick off our Relay Season with food, fun & fellowship

§          Encourage others to join Relay

§          Reflect on 2006 & discuss 2007 goals

January 9 (Tuesday)

1^st Team Leadership Meeting

6-7 pm

1^st Committee Meeting 7-8 pm

§          Learn about Relay For Life

§          Discuss 2007 goals and new ideas for fundraising

§          Pick up supplies

§          “Early Bird “Registration deadline for team members ends @ $5 per team member

February 13 (Tuesday)

The Health Resource Center-124 Battleship Rd, Camden

2^nd Team Leadership Meeting 6-7 pm

Committee Meeting 7-8 pm

§          Learn about American Cancer Society Services

§          Registration Deadline-team members must be registered by this meeting to guarantee RFL t-shirt

§          Planning for “at the Relay” Concessions, Fundraisers, and Activities and discuss plans for entertainment

§          Turn in money, chart our progress and get supplies

March 13 (Tuesday)

3^rd Team Leadership Meeting 6-7 pm

Committee Meeting 7-8 pm

§          Deadline to turn-in Corporate Sponsors-deadline for logos on shirts (sponsors $600 and up)

§          Turn in Proud ($100 track signs) & Patron

§          1st Grand Relay Member deadline (team members raising $1000+)

§          Provide information needed for Relay Program

§          Turn in money, chart our progress and get supplies

March 31 (Saturday)

The Health Resource Center

Survivor’s Dinner 6-8 PM

§          Celebrate Life with the Stars of Relay- our survivors!  Enjoy a great meal and entertainment!

April 10 (Tuesday)

4^th Team Leadership Meeting 6-7 pm

This is our final meeting before Relay so make every effort to attend.

§          Proud Sponsor Sign Deadline ($100 track signs)

§          Final Grand Relay Deadline (team members raising $1000+)

§          Assign campsites

§          Turn in money, chart our progress and get supplies

§          Get excited about our Relay!

April 30 (Monday)

First Community Bank

(Formerly Bank of Camden)

Bank Day

10 AM – 6 PM

§          Last chance to turn in all money and luminaries before Relay and each team will have an assigned time slot to come to the bank

§          Get detailed Relay Itinerary & map of Team campsites

§          Pick up participant & survivor t-shirts for team members

May 4 & 5 (Friday & Saturday)              

Relay for Life       

Lugoff-Elgin High School

 7 pm – 7 am

“Celebration of the Stars”

§          Remember those we have lost, Celebrate Life, and Have Fun!

§          At the Relay Concessions, Fundraisers, and Activities.

§          Turn in any additional money raised.

June 19 (Tuesday)
