KCSO Officer Honored at National Conference

Earlier this month Lt. Brad Lawson of the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office was recognized at the National Interdiction Conference in Nashville for his efforts in drug interdiction on I-20 in Kershaw County.  Lawson received the award for making the largest crack cocaine seizure on an interstate highway. The National Criminal Enforcement Association recognizes interdiction officer from all over the United States for efforts in seizing narcotics, stolen vehicles, fugitives, unlawful weapons and other criminal enforcement operations on the roadways of the United States. Last year Lawson was recognized for recovering the most stolen vehicles.
