CHS English Teacher Named Kershaw County Teacher of the Year

CHS-Rebecca_Rundlett-posedCamden High English teacher Rebecca Rundlett was named the 2014 Kershaw County Teacher of the Year Monday evening while Pine Tree Hill Elementary fourth grade teacher Linda Horton was named first alternate.

Also honored Monday evening were North Central Middle School science teacher Keisha Clay who received the Outstanding First Year Teacher award and Wateree Elementary School fourth grade teacher Christen Pruett who was named first alternate for outstanding first year teacher.

Lugoff-Elgin Middle school principal Karen Bullard was recognized as the district’s Principal of the Year.

Rebecca Rundlett has taught at Camden High since 2003.  Rundlett will compete for state Teacher of the Year honors next year.
