School Board Holds Public Hearing on Facilities

More discussion Tuesday evening at the meeting of the Kershaw County School Board regarding facilities and a possible bond referendum this fall for phase two facilities projects.  Dr. Frank Morgan, Kershaw County School Superintendent says folks in the Bethune area have expressed concern about the possible closure of Bethune Elementary. Speaking to the school board was John Fulmer, a member of Bethune Town Council. The meeting of the school board took place at North Central Middle School. There will be another public hearing about at the next meeting of the Kershaw County School Board. That meeting will take place at Lugoff Elementary.
