Trustees of KershawHealth were briefed Monday evening on the strategic planning process for Kershaw county’s health care system. Members of the KershawHealth board of trustees told by interim C.E.O. Terry Gunn that an employee survey has been completed and plans are to conduct another survey later this year. Gunn said that way the KershawHealth administration can measure improvements in health care delivery. Gunn said that quality measures over the past two months show 100% on six core measures and that attention to quality is paying off. Gunn said the goal is to maintain the momentum established in recent months. Gunn said another area where kershawHealth is working at improving health care delivery is monitoring patient feedback concerning quality of care.
