Sports Update For August 12 2014







Last night in Major League baseball the Atlanta Braves were hoping the momentum from taking two out of three from the division leading Washington Nationals would continue, but the Los Angeles Dodgers put a stop to it by taking game one of a four game series by a score of 6-2.

Tonight on Kool 102.7 at 5:55 it’s Major League baseball as the Atlanta play game two of a four game series with the Los Angeles Dodgers.





Camden Middle School football tryouts for any 7th and 8th grader will continue all this week at 4pm. Students must have a physical and a concussion form filled out in order to tryout. Tryouts will wrap up by 7:00 and students can be picked up at the bus circle.









Friday night High school football returns to Kershaw County for the 2014 Camden Shrine Club Football Jamboree out at Zemp Stadium. Eight teams will compete in two ten minute quarters; in the first game starting at 6:30 Lee Central takes on Andrew Jackson. Then it’s North Central battling Buford followed by Lugoff Elgin versus A.C. Flora and in the night cap the Camden High Bulldogs host the Ridge View Blazers.
