School District Receives Jake Watson Award From The United Way

The Kershaw County School District received the United Way of Kershaw County’s Highest Volunteer Award, the Jake Watson Award. The School District becomes only the third organization in 26 years to receive this honor. The other organizations were InVista and Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church. School District Employees have contributed $765,000, and students have raised $336,000 in the last ten years.
