School Board Names Head Football Coaches for Camden and North Central

The Kershaw County School Board Tuesday evening approved new head football coaches for both Camden and North Central high schools. Brian Rimpf, head coach at Jack Britt High in Fayetteville, North Carolina was named head coach and A.D. at Camden High. Rimpf is a graduate of East Carolina University and played in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens. He has a record of 42-23 during his career as Head Coach at Jack Britt in Fayetteville. North Central alumni and former N.F.L. player Tyrone Drakeford was named head coach and A.D. for North Central. A 1989 Graduate of North Central, Drakeford went on to play college football at Virignia Tech and had a 7 year stint in the NFL including winning a Super Bowl with the San Francisco 49ers. Drakeford has previously been the Regional AD with the Boys& Girls club of Greater Washington(VA). The vote by the school board was unanimous on both candidates.
