Friday, April 20

Toddler Art will take place at the Camden branch of the Kershaw County Library from 10:30 to 11:30 in the morning, and from 1 o’clock to 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Open to ages 2-5.

The Kershaw County Special Olympics takes place at 9am at Camden Military Academy. The public is invited to attend and cheer on more than 350 Kershaw County Student athletes and those from the Kershaw County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs.

Blaney Baptist Church is hosting a fundraiser golf tournament to assist with medical bills of youth group member Kayla Carter, who spent 21 days in ICU last fall, and is now in a rehab facility to learn to walk and use her hands again. Family Fest sponsored by St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church at 1301 Mill Street takes place from 2 to 4 in the afternoon at the church. Lugoff Fire and Rescue will have their inflatable obstacle course will be among the attractions. The public is invited to attend.

Mid Carolina Credit Union will host a community shred event from 830am to 1pm in the Springdale Plaza Parking Lot next to Goodwill. Open to the public for personal documents only, four standard file boxes per person, no businesses please.
