Chris Johnson - General Manager |

Chris began hanging around radio
stations with Uncle Bill Nichols at the age of 5 and was
hooked on the business. Started full-time at WTYC Radio in
Rock Hill in 1970 and hasn't had a real job since. Following
stints in Chester, Moncks Corner, and very briefly at the
South Carolina Network, he came to Camden in 1980. Station
manager from 1988 until Dawn and I bought the station in
1997. Married to Mary Bess Johnson, with 1 daughter, 2
step-daughters, 7 grand munchkins and 2 dogs. |

Dawn Mason -

Dawn has been with WPUB and WCAM for over 20 years. She got
her start in Radio at Disco 92 in Myrtle Beach and went on
to work for WZKY in Albemarle, WSOC in Charlotte and WCOS in
Columbia. She is a Carolina girl, born and bred, having
grown up in Okeewemee, NC, which is right around the corner
from Black Ankle. She enjoys gardening, reading, and, of
course, talking.

Phil Rogers - Operations Manager |

With the exception of Bryan Hicks,
Phil Rogers has been in radio in Kershaw County longer than
anyone else. Phil has been with WPUB and WCAM for over 25
years. Phil was born in Camden and graduated from Lancaster
High School in 1972. He's also worked at WLCM and WAGL in
Lancaster, WKSC in Kershaw, and WDXY in Sumter. As
operations manager and program director, Phil is responsible
for everything on the air. |

Dave McIntosh - News Director |

Dave has been News Director at
WPUB/WCAM since 1986 and has worked in journalism since
1972. He has a B.A. in Journalism and a Masters in Mass
Communications from the University of South Carolina and is
also a graduate of Gordon Military. Before coming to Camden,
he worked at stations in Columbia, Hilton Head, Orangeburg
and Pinehurst, N.C. in addition, Dave is also a regular
contributor to The London Lantern, a British tourism
website. |

Tiffany Flatt - Traffic Director |

Everything at the radio station
revolves around Tiffany. It does not go on the air without
going through her office first. GM Chris Johnson says
Tiffany is the glue that holds the entire operation
together. Tiffany is a 1991 graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High
School and has been at the station since 1999. Since 1995,
Tiffany is happily married to Tony Flatt. |

Patty Rose -

Patty obtained her Marketing Degree
from the University of West Florida in August 1990. In
addition to her years at KOOL 102.7 and StarTime 1590
(1994-96; 2002-present), Patty's career experience includes
corporate marketing with Marriott, non-profit marketing and
fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and small
business ownership as a financial planner with Waddell and
Reed. Patty is married to Neill Rose of Camden. They have 2
children: Thomas and Sallee. She and her husband are members
of First Baptist Church, Camden. |

Brittany Stewart -
Account Executive |

Brittany is a 2005 graduate of the
University of Arkansas, majoring in graphic communications
with a minor in photography. She came to South Carolina to
work with Sumter Advertising and for the past three years
she was the graphic designer for Budweiser of Columbia.
Brittany joined KOOL 102.7 and StarTime 1590 in July 2009.
She serves advertising customers in Kershaw, Sumter, Lee,
and Fairfield counties. |

Tyler Cupp - Account Executive/ Sports |

Tyler was first drawn into the world
of radio when he first heard "The Jim Rome Show" and "The
Dan Patrick Show." From then on, he was hooked. Tyler's
first job in radio was working for 1130 AM (The Sports
Animal.) He did play-by-play and color commentary for 6
Camden High football games in 2003. Became a frequent caller
into the Locker Room Sports Show and now hosts the show.
Tyler works in sales and also handles the sports updates
during the week. Is an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and
West Virginia Mountaineers. Follow Tyler's Sports Blog at

Robbie Mays - Sports |

Robbie began his radio career at WPUB in 2003 as a
statistician and commentator for Camden High School
Football. Since then, he has become the "NASCAR Insider" for
the Locker Room Sports Show, and does play-by-play for
Camden Bulldog Football, Kershaw County Basketball, and Kershaw
County Baseball. He is a graduate of the University of
South Carolina and plans to pursue a
career in NASCAR. In 2008, Robbie interned with the Motor

Nadine Kinard - KOOL

Nadine is over the KOOL Klassifieds
where local businesses and consumers can advertise their
goods and services. She was born and raised right here in
Lugoff, and graduated from Lugoff-Elgin High School in 1988
and from Morris College in 1992 with a Bachelors Degree in
Media Arts. While attending Morris, she was station manager
over WMCC, the campus radio station and served her
internship at WQMC in Sumter; the Local Gospel station.
Nadine worked for Glory Communications and was their Program
Director for WEAF-AM. She is the mother of two, a son Kieran
and a daughter Nakeia. Nadine says she is at home and right
where she wants to be. |

Dalton has been a board operator at
WPUB/WCAM for 4 years and regularly runs the board for the
Locker Room Sports Show as well as local sports broadcasts.
Dalton graduated from Lugoff-Elgin High School and is a
student at the University of South Carolina. |

Brandon has been a board operator at
WPUB/WCAM for 4 years and runs the board for various local
sports programming and the Locker Room Sports Show. Brandon
has also announced several Dixie Boys and Dixie Youth
Baseball games. Brandon is a 2009 graduate of Lugoff-Elgin
High School and is a student at The Citadel. |

In Memory of
"Big Daddy" Bryan Hicks |
|
 |
Our radio family mourns the death of
Lee Bryan "Big Daddy" Hicks. Big Daddy passed away in
December 2009 after a brief illness. Big Daddy's broadcast
career spanned over 50 years and since 1960 he was a fixture
on radio in Kershaw County. He is missed by all who knew and
loved him. |
