Beg. Auto-CAD I & II-  T/TH  5:30 – 8:30 PM  10/17-11/2     $75

Level I- for beginners.  Basic fundamentals of Auto CAD with real-life examples will be covered.  The course will help students prepare for an advanced level.  Step-by-step exercises are included that utilize all the basics you need to start drawing in dimensions.  Level II students will experiment with different designs.  Students will work on a project of their choice.   Instructor:  Redfearn

 

Basic Welding I & II-  T/TH  4:30 – 7:30 PM  10/24-11/16       $210

This course is designed to provide entry-level skills necessary to enter the fields of general or construction welding.  Equipment used includes both SMAW and GMAW.   Instructor:   Smith

 

Beg. Custom Car Painting- M/W 6-8 PM  10/23-11/8  $250/incl. brush

This fun class is designed to help beginners learn how to paint with House of Color custom paints (bowling ball, multi-tones, candies, and airbrush).  Students will learn the basic steps to painting a car or motorcycle.  Students will complete 3 custom painted panels.  One of these will be airbrushed.  All supplies are included in the tuition.  Students with their own airbrush will pay $150.   Instructor:  Weaver

 

eBAY for Beginners- M  6-8:30 PM  11/13 (one evening only)        $20

Beginning Computers for All- Tuesdays 12-2 PM   10/24-12/5       $45

This class is for beginners- those who barely know how to turn the computer on.  This is a great class for seniors-and all adults who have little or no experience using the computer.  Students will learn the basics of the computer, Windows, Internet and e-mail.  No prerequisites required. Keyboarding (Independent Study) Tuesdays  10-12 AM or 5-7 PM   Oct. 17th - Dec. 5th   $25.  Students use computers to learn keyboarding and mouse skills.  Students work independently on skills, and schedules will vary to meet the needs of the student and the instructor.  Instructor:  Wood

 

Introduction to Computers I- Two Saturdays- 9 AM- 4 PM  11/11 & 11/18  $55.  This class is designed for beginning computer users who want to learn the basics of Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Internet Explorer.  Prerequisite:  keyboarding and mouse skills.  Instructor: TBA

 

Introduction to Computers I- M/W  6-8:30 PM  10/16-11/1   $60 

This weekday class is designed forbeginning computer users who want to learn the basics of Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Internet Explorer.  Prerequisite:  keyboarding and mouse skills.  Instructor:  TBA

 

Introduction to Computers II- T/TH  6-8:30 PM  10/24-11/9     $50

This class is designed for students who want more in-depth instruction on using the computer.  Topics covered will be more in-depth Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and an introduction to Microsoft Office XP.  Instructor: TBA

 

Basic Word Processing- M/T  6-8:30 PM  11/13-11/28    $45

This course is designed to teach Microsoft Word XP from basics to more advanced use.  Prerequisite:  Introduction to Computers Level I or equivalent expertise.  Instructor: TBA

 

 

 

 

Basic Spreadsheet Application- T/TH  6-8:30 PM  10/24-11/14  $65

This course is designed to teach Microsoft Excel XP from the basics to more advanced use.  Prerequisite:  Introduction to Computers Level I or equivalent expertise.  Instructor:  TBA

GED CLASSES- SESSION II

 

Registration for GED Classes:  Oct. 9th -12th  M/T/TH (8:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

Classes begin October 16th and end on December 7th.  Cost:  Tuition- $30

GED Book- $20 & GED Calculator- $10.  All students must take the TABE Assessment before entering class.  TABE Assessment: $10.  Transcripts required for all students.  Call for TABE assessment dates and times.

*3 days of orientation required for all 17-18 year old students.

English as a Second Language Classes

ESL classes meet on Thursdays at ATEC Adult Education.  Classes meet from 6-8 PM.  Call 425-8980 for more information.
