The Camden First Community Development Corporation is offering free income tax preparation by appointment only.  Free tax help on basic tax returns for those with low or fixed income.  Income must be $49,500 or less.  Call 432-3101 for more information or an appointment.

The Fine Arts Centre of Kershaw County in association with the Columbia Children's Theatre is presenting a stage adaptation of The Wizard of Oz. Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows are at 7pm and the Sunday show is at 3pm.  Tickets are $6.  Call 425-7676.

Spring Coin Show of the Camden Coin Club.  8am to 4:30pm at the Kershaw County Recreation Department on Highway 1 in Camden.  Admission and parking are free.

The annual meeting of the Lake Wateree Association will takes place at the Camden Shrine Club starting at 10am.

The Doby's Mill Elementary School Relay for Life team is hosting a fund raiser at the Elgin IGA from 10am to 5pm. Get a hotdog and a drink for a $3 donation.

 

Wateree Baptist Church will hold a walk-a-thon at Scott Park on Battleship Road in Camden from 9am to 12noon to raise money for local mission projects.
