Traffic will be monitored on South Broad Street  from Rutledge Street to Interstate 20 .

 

Tip of the Day: "Safe driving begins with a positive attitude.  Don't let inconsiderate actions of another motorist affect you driving behavior."

 

Tuesday, January 10

Traffic will be monitored on  West Dekalb Street from Wylie Street  to the Wateree River Bridge.

 

Tip of the Day: "Watch for children playing in residential areas.  Reduce your speed in residential areas and be alert at all times.  Children may suddenly appear and you should be prepared to react."

 

Wednesday,  January 11

Traffic will be monitored on Highway 34  from Highway 1 to Southgate Drive.

 

Tip of the Day: "Drivers are reminded that it only takes a split second for an accident to occur, but you can reduce your chances of being injured when properly restrained. Remember to buckle up and remain alert at all times."

 

Thursday,  January 12

Traffic will be monitored on East Dekalb Street  from Mill Street  to Wateree Avenue.

 

Tip of the Day: "when approaching a railroad crossing, don't be tempted to try to beat a train.  If you see a train coming, wait.  An approaching train may be closer and traveling faster than it appears."

 

Friday, January 13

Traffic will be monitored on West Dekalb Street  from Broad Street to the Wateree River Bridge.

 

Tip of the Day: "when a driver intends to turn or move left or right in a lane, a signal shall be given continuously during the last one hundred feet traveled by the vehicle before turning."
